Navi Plus + Tv Tuner RNS-D

Hello to everyone...

Recently I have bought and instaled an NaviPlus (8L0 035 192 D) in my February 2001 A3 8L. Before the car had a Concert1 radio.

To make it work I have to bought this cable, so that the gala signal could be present!

It's working good now! 8)

Now i want to install a tv tuner, if possible Audi's original!

Should I pick this (4DO 919 146) or this one (4DO 919 146 B )???

And then, how do I connect it?

Go for the B module.

The 1st and 3rd cable are acceptable, the 2nd cable is an aux input cable and the 4th is for the MFD2 VW, not the Audi

What are you doing about antennas? yo uwill need to upgrade all your amps and diversity switcher

You need to investigate this further....

The TV tuner is fed from the 4 diversity antennas in the rear of the car, each antenna has an amp that is only radio compatible, unless you already have TV/radio installed. So these need to be upgraded to get a signal.

The amplifiers feed a 4 way diversity switcher, again only radio compatible, this needs changing to the TV/radio version to pass the signal through and then you need the cables to reach teh tuner from the diversity switch.

How it all hangs togther.....

1 - TV tuner at rear left of luggage compartment behind side trim
2 - CD changer (optional) at rear left of luggage compartment behind side trim
3 - Hands-free loudspeaker in driver's storage compartment (up to MY 01)
4 - Operating electronics control unit, navigation
5 - Front treble/mid-range loudspeaker in upper door trim
6 - Front bass loudspeaker in lower door trim
7 - Rear broadband loudspeaker in left side trim
8 - Amplifier with bass loudspeaker at rear left of luggage compartment behind side trim
9 - Rear broadband loudspeaker in right side trim
10 - Rear window with four integrated aerials
11 - Roof aerial (radio/telephone/navigation system)
12 - Four amplifiers for aerials in rear window
13 - Amplifier in roof aerial
14 - Aerial selection control unit at rear left of luggage compartment behind side trim
15 - Navigation system interface beneath driver's storage compartment

does this antenas fit the B-version? they show the B-version, but they only talk about the non-B version... :?

I hope they are already amplified...
