Yes this is perfectly normal i think it tells you to press& hold the button for x amount of secs(i just ignore it i do)

navi plus screen message!!!
hello!i have a little question!when turning off my car,and as a result the navi plus turns off automatically,before closing the screen says <<<to activate tp mode press the tp button>> is this normal? :roll:

If you press & hold the TP button as the message says then your Nav+ will switch to a special mode where it monitors and saves the TP messages while you are away from the car. Brilliant!
The RNS-E has a timer feature which does even more - you can make it save TP messages while you're still having breakfast or in the office, so when you start your commute you can listen to recent traffic messages.
I've diverted a few times using this feature, it's saved me a lot of delay & hassle!
In theory yes this sounds a brilliant feature but i have tried it a few times and it causes a few problems when i activate the TP as asked the next time i start the car & nav i have all sorts of problems getting out of the last dest visited,so i just give this facility a wide berth.(personal preference}
