Yes it is working the same way but only if volume is over certain level and (if I'm not mistaken) it is related to SVC - same way like Symphony II was.
music fading down to let sat nav women talk
does the music (mp3 or cd or radio) fade down a little when the sat nav women talks? My friend has a lexus and it does that.. however i've noticed the rns-e doesn't do that..

where do i set SVC? i only see GALA.
Yes, the nav lady will turn down your music, but only if she needs to. It depends on two things... how loud your music is... and how loud you have set the nav lady to speak. Since the nav lady always speaks at the same volume (independent of the music volume)... then she only turns down your music if it is considerably louder than her voice volume.
a typical women: when nobody can hear her, she will try to shut the other down!
