I bought my RNS-E from a vendor who supports the new Multimedia coding. I installed it per the instructions, and still had the annoying warning message. I contacted the vendor, and they shipped me a replacement and I'm having the same problem.

I can see my TV just fine if I'm parked, but as soon as I'm driving it goes away.

Does any one have any ideas of what I'm doing wrong? The vendor swears the coding is done properly.

I don't know what you mean by 'new Multimedia coding'.

Are you sure your RNS-E is coded correctly for your car?

Maybe post the instructions you have on here.

Check the value in adaptation channel 5 - it should be 250 if VIM is correctly coded.

If not, try changing it to 250. If it won't change then the RNS-E has not had the VIM unlocking done (or the VIM unlocking has been "broken" by a software upgrade).
