Great info, thx! Was looking this everywhere last year, when I was making cross continental trip and wanted to play region 1, 2 and 5 DVDs, but ok, good to know it. Now let's hope somebody finds a "crack" for the 5 changes limit (since this seems a "normal" DVD player (Hitachi?), I hope there is a firmware flash or so available for this?)

Strange, the serial number of the MMI 3G module 5F has 14 positions, with the following format: xxxAAxAAxxxxxx (x=digit, A=letter), and then you have to select digits 6, 13, 10, 14 and 11 (resulting in 5 numbers).

Are you sure your serial number is K5FAN153A3TEK ? It is only 13 positions and different format. Its production date is even little before mine, and of course you are sure it is MMI 3G (with DVD video player, etc).......

If this all is correct, I would try code 53135 or 51533

Good luck!
