Microphone Volume

Hi. I'm new here so please excuse my ingnorance....

I have an A4 Cabriolet Nov2005 with RNS-E and bluetooth.

People always complain when I am on the phone to them and say i sound like i am a million miles away from the mic. Everything is factory fitted but I wondered if you guys know of any magic settings to play with ;-)

My phone is a Sony Ericson K750i connected via bluetooth

"magic settings" are located in your TEL module firmware. You will need VAG interface/cable to access those features.

Could be adaptation channel 131 (although bah35uk has tried that without success) or channel 134 of the BT module (address 77).

These settings can only be changed with either VAG-COM or the delaers VAS tool.

Hey Petrol, does you N70 show the phone book through teh BT modul when its sync'ed??

I paired a N90 today and could not access the phone boook..I think its just the way i have the BT module coded is all..

Nope.

See Proxus' post - it could be related to the N70 being BT 2.0 and the 6230 being BT 1.2,.... or the N70 not supporting SAP.

Really need someone with an N71 to try it - because that is BT 2.0 and SAP. So if that works then we need SAP, if it doesn't then we need BT 1.2
