Make the map display first (after agreement, of course)?

When I start the car, I'm faced the with the liability agreement, which is fine...been the same on my other cars with nav. However, if nav was the last screen selected, I find myself with the "New Route" screen instead of the map. I like to have the map displayed when I'm driving around even when I don't need directions, and it seems weird to have to click the bottom-right button to show the map every time I start my car. I've looked through the setup screens but haven't seen anything obvious. Anyone know if I can have the map be the default screen when the nav button is pressed the first time?

Not with the current software 0020 and I haven't seen any message saying that this has changed in 0040 or 0360 either. Maybe in a future release. :x
0360 still works the same way.
To be honest I think we should start messing again with the files to clear this annoing warning message 8)

Feel free to get this started any time. ;-)

and to keep the unit on until the key is removed.. i think that annoys me more than the warning message.. stupid US features
I agree with that... Very annoying to have the radio turn off before you remove the key.

At longer Stoplights, I turn off my S4 to save gas. But then the NAV goes dead. :(
I wil look into files because WARNING message really bug me
Do I remember correctly that EU maps don't have that?

It's not the map, it's the software. As soon as you load the US software you get the disclaimer and power off with ignition...
For what it's worth, my concern isn't the disclaimer. Frankly I expect that on any auto nav system. My Acura and (previous) Lexus both have start-up disclaimers as well. Annoying, but understandable given our litigious nature. My issue is that after the disclaimer, I still have to click the "Nav" corner to see the map instead of just seeing it when the system starts (if it was previously selected, of course). Looks like it is what it is, though...
Does anyone know where that file resides on the US Software? Is there anyone that can find all the instances of that file?

If so, do you think we could delete that file and then burn a new copy of the software without the warning message.
