I noticed that a few new owners of the B7 A4 are using their SD/MP3 cards in the RNS-E. I believe the max that the RNS-E will support is the 4GB SD card (or 8GB if you have two).

Also, this is probably a good place to post questions to those who have an actual RNS-E Navi working with US DVD/Map disks.

Happy Trolling!

I guess you are correct because the only supported file system on those SD cards is FAT16 and its limit is 4GB (4096MBytes)...

not sure if the SD cards will allow you to play a specified playlist. Hopefully...then that would be cool. If not..I still think an Ipod or PhatBox is a much better option.

I only played little with the SD/MP3 player but it takes the m3u playlists and displays the title on the screen. Still have to figure out how that exactly works, I put each CD in a separate folder but those without m3u playlist didn't show up right away. Nevertheless, it's probably one of the coolest features of the RNS-E...

Yup. Sounds like the SD card will play playlists. That's good to know. In fact, when I save my playlists with my PhatBox/PhatNoise Music Manager s/w, they are saved as a M3U file as well.

On another note....Edmund's feels that the RNS-E is difficult to use:
