Have been trying to install glove box cd player but now i have pluged in the cable in the B socket Vagcom will not work.

The old plug on the wire loom had 2 yellow leads in it and i think 1 is the k line

Is it the K line that vagcom needs to conect, and is it just the 1 wire that needs to be swaped as the other is not conected to anything

Thanks

You need both a power ground AND a signal ground.

Signal ground goes to pin 2 of connector B on the RNS-E, and power ground goes either to a ground terminal or to pin 12 of connector D on the RNS-E.

Thanks 4 that i am looking at it now

So i need to have a wire from pin 9 on the cd player plug going to pin 2 on plug b of the rns E

By the look of my lead pin 2 is conected to pin 8

Do u think this is the wrong lead ?
