with correct cables it is pretty much plug-n-play..

you will also need the removal keys or just have the audi dealer pull your old radio -- but the keys are cheap just get them..

VAG-COM is usually only necessary to get NAV info on the DIS (screen on the instrument cluster).. you should be able to find some one with a VAG-COM in the area..

the hardest part (which really isnt that bad) is the GPS antenna.. either behind the cluster or above the glovebox is fairly easy to get to..

i think you find, it is a pretty easy job..
