Hello, I have installed BT (letter H) module last weekend on my A3 8P 2005. I have RNS-E (sw0500 h72) retrofitted by me and I have a problem codifying.

On screen appears "insert sim card please" and I can receive calls and speak without problems, and call with my phone and speak well, but I can't dial and I can't do nothing else...

My configuration is:

Have anybody the same problem? I don't have MF steering wheel.

I have a friend that says me that I have to try to put 0010355 on module 77 but I can't, I put this but appears 0000355 again, and I don't know why... :(

If you have the H module then it should accept coding : 0010355

It must be set to 1 = Comfort (for RNS-E high/RNS-Low)

I had this problem with a D module, which I now know will not accept RNS-E high.

Just enter 10355. And if you have a Ross-Tech cable, get the newest VAG-COM 607.3 from their web page.

Do you think that my problem is with my 512.4 cable?

Is possible that my dealer can do this?

512.4 is the software version, nothing to do with the cable.

If you have a genuine Ross-Tech cable, then download 607.3 from their website (free) and try again.

If you don't have a genuine Ross-Tech cable, then see if there is someone local who has.

Failing that you could try asking your dealer, but most of them are pretty clueless when it comes to coding the Bluetooth module and RNS-E.

There's no reason why an "H" version of the Bluetooth module should not accept the 10xxx coding.
