Maybe there is a way to do this or maybe it's just a glitch...but I'm looking for some input here.

Today I had to find the following address:

325 S. 31st Ave
Phoenix AZ

I input "Phoenix" for the city, then entered "31" for the street and "325" for the house number. The RNS E calculated my route and I set off on the trip.

Once there, I realized I was at 325 N. 31st Ave, not S (South) 31st Ave.

I tried to look thru the Nav input screen to see if there was a way to enter S, N, E, W...and it doesn't seem there is.

Is there a fix for this?

Luckily the number was small (325) so the "South" version of the street was only 650 numbers down in the other directions...but if it were 1950 S. vs 1950 N. it would have been a much bigger pain.

Those maps have some glitches...sometimes you need to go "South 31st" sometimes just "31" and it will give you option to choose between N31st and S31st.

But as I said....It could be glitch within the map coding.

The US RNS-E would prompt you if you want South or North, the Euro version doesn't. I have see this twice when using my US RNS-E (the North/South prompt) but never with the Euro unit.

really a problem in NY

In NY this is a major problem. If you want to go to 320 W. 86th St. for example it is not possible. System always wants to go to E 86th St.

The only way to find anything in the west is to use the intersection function.
