backup is = to original 100%
if i attempt to make a backup dvd would i ruin the unit?
is there a way to prevent messing up the unit if i try to make a backup nav dvd ? i know ill mess up my original.. is there any method to try its a US unit & US disk thanks

I agree, and have a lot of experience with backups: the worst message you can get is 'insert navigation dvd'...

I made a complete backup of my US maps DVD. I used Roxio and made a .iso image. It works in the Navigation head unit fine.
