Idiosyncrasy when changing unit to Lamborghini setting. :)

Because I am easily amused, I coded my unit to an 01. I noticed when I did this, my Sirius Satellite radio disappeared as an option from the "Bands" menu. (AM/FM/Sirius)

But since I had some memory locations set to satellite radio, I was able to tune those channels in, and then back out and select any satellite radio channel.

Just an FYI. I am wondering if a European flashed Unit could use the Sat radio if one of the presets was set to said type station.

Just a thought.

Could be, we have seen that AM stations stored at Euro frequencies remained available after flashing to the US software. There should relly be one device for all regions where you can enable/disable options you like/don't like. Like turnig the unit off with ignition or when removing the key or having SAT radio available. And of corse a checkbox to disable the disclaimer.
Could I flash to the Euro firmware at this point, or is that more hassle than it is worth just to lose the nag screen?

In theory yes but I wouldn't do it. The US software simply better in the US - so does the Euro software in Europe.
for sh!ts and giggles, i also recoded mine to 01_____ sure enough the bull appeared when i turned the unit on..

for some reason, i changed it back right away before thoroughly investigating for other differences..

has anyone found anything other that the SAT radio and of course the start up pic??..
I found the sat radio works better for me with the Lambo setting.

Properly coded, when I would change Sat stations, I would often times get a pause, then audio from the previous station again and then a pause and then the new station,

With the Lambo setting I change stations and get a pause and the new station.
