Hey Guys,

I've searched the site and couldn't find any pics or detailed write up on how to mount the GPS antenna and route the wire to the cubby area above the glove box. Any info, pics, help, advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks!

Remove the glovebox (5 screws or 9 depending on if you're in Europe of the US), and lay it in the passenger footwell.

The side of the centre console is now revealed - with a big hole which you just feed the GPS antenna wire through.

Now just fix the GPS antenna to the highest point of the top of glovebox with double sided tape, and re-install the glovebox.

The whole process took me less than 15 minutes to complete on my 2004 B6 S4.

Do I remove the glovebox door or the actual "liner" inside?

I wasn't sure if you meant just taking the door off the hinges or removing the dark felt box that is inside. Sorry if I'm being dense here.

the whole felt box

there are screws inside the felt box.. tons on the top near the trim and 2-3 inside the back of the glovebox

remember a T30 torx
OK I got all of the screws/bolts out I could find, but the damn liner is still in there solid. I think I took out 8 total. I popped off the trim on the outside panel between the blovebox and the passenger side door. I see one more screw...is that the torx one you were talking about? All of the others came off with just a 5/16's socket.

Any help would be great...really wish that Bentley manual I ordered was here by now!

Not a B5...I have an '05 S4 (B6)

I must have missed the ones by the footwell. THanks for the info!
