I'd really like to get the Motorola Q but I'm really not sure about their service.

In my experience, Verizon is better than the rest... except in LA when I was getting some crazy dropped calls.

I second that. At least here in the Bay Area, there isn't any better provider from my experience. My buddies have Sprint, Cingular and T-Mobile, and I have a second phone that's T-Mobile, too. They all have coverage issues, only Verizon works everywhere.

Which sucks, I would personally much prefer to go with a GSM based network, but the last time I tried T-Mobile, I got so frustrated with it that I gave up after a few months and switched to Verizon.

A friend of mine has the Q and I tried it with the RNS-E and BT module. Seemed to work nicely, although I didn't get to do any serious testing... Phonebook seemed to work, too :)
