The differences in radio station PTY info, available frequencies, and station tuning increments cause minor annoyances when installing an EU RNS-E model unit in a US car. Couldn't the info from the linked thread somehow be worked into a fix for this? I know I am not savvy enough to figure this out on my own (not even close), but I'm sure we can come up with a solution if we put our heads together. Lets see what we can do

This has been tried before (by accidient) and nobody succeeded yet. Maybe with the new software later this year somebody will try it again...
