Hi i need help to install a RNS-E in a A3 (2004) with a chorus 2 radio. Whats the difference in a 8P0 035 192 A and a 8P0 035 192 F (basic an High)?

Can anyone send me links from people wich have installed it? Thanks

The 8P0 035 192 A is supposed to have the 0330 software installed (2006 model year), the 8P0 035 192 F is supposed to be the HIGH version which supports additional voice commands. But I have seen those part numbers only once and I'm not certain if they are correct.

In any case, without additional hardware you will not be able to use the additional features of the HIGH version. Therefore I would recommend to go with the plain old 8P0 035 192 (no letter). If you are in Europe you can upgrade the software with the 2005.1 or 2005.2 DVD to 0330/0360 and get most of the additional feature the newer units have.

Sorry, no. The RNS-E install is the same as in the A4 but the install of a double DIN center console is different. I looked around but haven't seen any guide on how to do this part.
