I have the Symphony I, the cd changer is in the trunk along with the regular DIS navigation system. The sirius is aftermarket, its hooked via the cassette player.AudiA4B6US said:The US unit with analogue speed signal would be the 4B0 035 192R (or 4B0 035 192P for the EU unit), the "E" unit is the A4 model which requires speed over CAN. Do you already have a Symphony II radio (with the 6 disk cd cahnger build in? Or do you have the Symphony I or Delta? Is the Sirius receiver OEM or aftermarket?
Since the faceplate is removable it might happen that someone gets an A6 unit with an A4 faceplate, or any other combination. If the faceplate has not been mechanically modified to fit in a car, there is a way to differentiate the different versions:craigyb said:The A6 unit is too big for a replacement in an S8, it's wider than the cutout. You will need an A4 version, but remove the metal strip, now here's the catch, my A4 version was a P and all the A4 versions I'ce seen are C's.
So the P is what you need, but is hard to find.
