I really dont have a whole lot of knowlege about installing something like this on my 01 S8, and I also have Sirius satellite unit on my car. Is there a place or someone who has done or does this ?
Thanks a bunch.

I've put one in an 02 S8, no problems so far, UK model with no satelite radio of course.

Radio, phone, cd changer nav all work, but you will need the unit that supports GALA (P) version or the EU, I think an E version for the states.

TV tuner upgrade is required if you have TV, additional wires are required into the cluster for CAN connections and of course you will need a loom made up for the S8, details of which are on this forum.

The US unit with analogue speed signal would be the 4B0 035 192R (or 4B0 035 192P for the EU unit), the "E" unit is the A4 model which requires speed over CAN. Do you already have a Symphony II radio (with the 6 disk cd cahnger build in? Or do you have the Symphony I or Delta? Is the Sirius receiver OEM or aftermarket?
The A6 unit is too big for a replacement in an S8, it's wider than the cutout. You will need an A4 version, but remove the metal strip, now here's the catch, my A4 version was a P and all the A4 versions I'ce seen are C's.

So the P is what you need, but is hard to find.

I have the Symphony I, the cd changer is in the trunk along with the regular DIS navigation system. The sirius is aftermarket, its hooked via the cassette player.

Since the faceplate is removable it might happen that someone gets an A6 unit with an A4 faceplate, or any other combination. If the faceplate has not been mechanically modified to fit in a car, there is a way to differentiate the different versions:

A3: 8P0 035 192 (EU unit), US part number not known yet, has rounded corner at the top left and right

A4: 8E0 035 192C (EU unit) or 8E0 035 192E (US unit), has a thin aluminium piece at the bottom of the front plate. The piece is removable from the faceplate after removing two screws but you will see that there where screws before

A6: 4B0 035 192P (EU unit) or 4B0 035 192R (US unit), does not have the aluminium piece at the bottom and is wider than the A4 unit at the top

All cars without the infotainment CAN-BUS (e.g. without a Symphony II or Concert II radio) will need to get the A6 unit because it's the only one with a separate speed wire. The A3 and A4 units require speed over CAN.

That's the theory.
My 02 S8 actually has speed pulse on can bus.

I've proved it, set the unit to be in an A6 and TV in motion can be enabled disabled by a switch.

Set it to A4 mode, reads speed pulse off canbus and TV disables when moving.

So I could have installed the A4 unit after all
