Hi I was wondering whether or not the 12v power from the Glove Box Light is constant or ignition controlled? When I open the glove box without the Keys in the light still turns on?

The reason I ask is I am wanting to power my PS2 via this and if is constant I would rather look at other options?

Ps. Is there a pin on back of the RNS-E which I would use to power the PS2 Inverter?

Thanks

Have you ever heard of AMPS? none of the cables at the back of the RNS would be suitable for an inverter feed.

Run a seperate feed from the fuse box for the inverter, they draw a fair few amps.

Use a switched live to trigger a 30A 12V relay that allows the perm live feed through aftre the key is turned.

2nd craigyb's suggestion. Wiring anything to a glovebox light loom will get you as far as a blown fuse at best... or a flaming car at worst.
