make sure the car/Nav is VAGed to recognise/aknowledge the CDC.

not sure why your ESP is on though... did it come on following the installation of the CDC or was it on prior to that?

If your ESP light is burning.. You may try to disconnect the battery for a minute. Just disconnect the black cable (mass) and put it back..

After reconnecting you still see the ESP light burning. After a little ride, the EPS light will be gone.

P.S. Didn't you forget to de-activate the ESP button on your dash ? :)

good to hear you got the ESP issue sorted out...

as for the VAG thingy, take a look at the following instructions...

see in that first table, you need to make sure the 5th digit of the number is either 3 if you don't have a TMC box or 7 if you do... hope that makes sense...

unfortunately that's the only way you can access these numbers...

fellow audi owners in your area may have a VAGCOM, it's just a software and a cable (Ross-Tech/VAGCOM website)...

no letter after the part number???

if that's the case then you're out of luck... the 8E0 035 111 [no revision] does not work with the RNS-D... you need one w/ a revision letter whether it be A, B or C, not sure about the D version...

sorry dude...

Hello...

In the "VW world" the RNS-D is called MFD. Does anyone know if it is the same with the 8E0 035 111 [no revision] and the MFD navi ?? .. meaning it does NOT work ?

/peter
