Is the GPS antenna there if you didn't order the factory NAV?

I just installed it a few days ago running an extension gps cable from the rear roof to the rns-e and it works great! The cable I got from Ralf Deventer is a little short. I might get another one a little longer. Running the cable forward is a piece of cake and easy to hide. I'll make a post of my installation when I get a chance.

Any idea how long the cable you purchased was? (So that I can order a longer one)

I ordered one of these from Kufatec. It's 6 meters long so hopefully that's enough. It has the Fakra connectors on both ends like it should. Ralf Deventer is great to deal with but he doesn't have the cables with the fakra connectors.
