I have a question for Audi A8 owners (or anyone who can help me out). How exactly does the fingerprint start button work (also known as one-touch-memory) ???
In the mmi menu (car/systems/drivers seat memory) I found 2 options:
1) key-memory (or something like that) with on/off option
2) one-touch-memory with on/off option
I cannot select the "on" function for the one-touch-memory option (I tried switching the key memory off, but still no luck).
I have two users set (both users fingerprinted). The only thing that I see happening is that if I start the car, in the users section of the mmi my name is selected, and if my wife starts the car her name is selected (my guess is that it works). But nothing is stored (seat memory, climate control, sound volume etc etc).
Can someone tell me how to set this system up ??
Another question is, is the fingerprint module connected to the immobilizer (this would be great!) or is solely for memory options ??
