I spoke with NAVTEQ today and 2005 DVD is not released yet but it's possible that it will be available next month. They couln't really tell because all marketing and distribution decisions are controlled by AOA.
EU update from 0320
Hi Gang,
I am not sure if the answer has been posted, I could not find it, but has anyone attempted to update a EU RNS-E with newer than 0140 Firmware, specifically, 0320, as it at least sequentially less than the US 0330?
Any thoughts or feedback on this are appreciated.
On another note does anyone know if the 2005_2 US DVD has been released yet? Wondering what Firmware it is and if is new enough that we can use it on euro 0320 or 0340 EU units.

Are you sure you have a 0320? That would be the first time I would have heard about such a version. 0330 is on the Euro 2005_1 DVD, 0360 is on the Euro 2005_2 DVD and on the new 8E0...D units. But 0320 I have never seen or heard of so far.
I managed once to get a Euro "C" unit to go back from EU 0360 to US 0020 but I don't know if it was by accident. Since I can't get my "C" unit with 0020 to load any Euro software right now I'm waiting for the US 0040/2005 DVD to get released and start over.
In theory it should be possible (because I did it once) but I can't confirm it because I don't have a "D" unit to play with.

Sorry, I am not sure I was paroting what some EU RNS_E suppliers have said, and that is some units have 0320 SW.
You are still the expert at this in my opinion :wink:
