The cost in the UK for the Euro map DVD (8P0 919 884 C) from an Audi dealer is ....... (I hope you are sitting down) .... GBP391 (= $736).

TeleAtlas only sell the CD maps.

I was thinking of something like TeleAtlas where you can see what region the map cover, does that exist?

We ARE talking DVD maps here, but since audi80 mentioned TeleAtlas someone had to "knock them off" the list of potential suppliers of the DVD maps.

AFAIK in Europe only Audi dealers can sell the DVD maps - unless we can discover the real manufacturer and persuade them to sell through another channel.

In the US there appears to be the Navteq option, but in Europe so far no other option.

In the UK it seems very unlikely that another option wil appear since Audi UK are having to pay to have TMC data included on the 2006 DVD (see the thread on the Yahoo Audi Nav forum about this).
