I think that i am looking for the music effect, my original unit had 4x20Watt something. I think that the RNS-E has got 2x40 Watt, something

Something = lack of knowledge in what the diffrence between music effect and RMS is! Just know it is diffrent way's to measure the effect. Music effect is more to imprese with the given value and RMS is the real deal. Correct?

Correct.

Music power = peak power with only 1 channel driven (so never actually achieved in real life, but looks good on a specification).

RMS = (Root Mean Square) in effect the average power from each channel with all channels driven at the same time (what you actually get in real life).

I'll have to check my RNS-E manual to see if it specifies the power - unless anyone else can answer before me?
