antenna for a '04 Audi S4 is supposed to be?

On EU Avants it's in the shark fin antenna at the rear.

On my '04 S4 Avant (without OE shark fin) I've been experimenting over the past week and found that taking the glove box out and fitting the antenna above the area where the CD changer would be gives me 4 satellites at start-up and typically 7 or 8 within a minute or so.

And it's a real easy place to get to - with the glove box off you can even reach the GPS antenna connector on the rear of the RNS-E.

A4 Sharkfin GPS Antenna?

Anyone know if the 2004 B6 A4 Sharkfin has a GPS antenna in it? Is the cable in the same location as the S4?
