When I switch my display mode to "auto" it always is on night mode. Why? Have I missed anything?

Did you configure your car to have the head/fog lights turned on all the time? Are the other switches illuminated too? The RNS-E will always be in night mode if you did the VAG-COM change to have DRL.

my car came configured to always have the lights on! Swedish law... So, I can't use "auto"... That's just sad...

I reprogrammed mine to have my fogs always ON and I set NAV to day-mode. I didn't like night mode anyway
