Disabling the startup legal disclaimer..?

Is there a way to permanently get rid of the legal disclaimer (saying bla bla it's dangerous if you don't look at the road...) that is displayed everytime you start the car?

Thanks

i am also interested in this..

also does anyone know if the "disclaimer" pops up the same in the Euro vs. US units??
I haven't seen this on my EU unit. But then, it was only connected once for a couple of minutes to a car...
Personally I connected 3-4 units already and didn't see any disclaimer 8-[

I saw the disclaimer in a '05 US A8 and I read that the new '05 A4 has it. Maybe it's something new with the recent up-to-date firmware versions... Anyway, what I'm sure of is that it's quite annoying!
I've been told that by someone on AudiWorld - Did someone tried that in America?

"I don't know how to do this on the A4, but on the Touareg, you can remove this by using a VAG-COM and recoding module 17 to change the radio country code (this procedure can screw up AM tuning a bit, however)."
I have never seen the warning on my EU unit but I did try to set the RNS-E language to English (US) and it did not let me do this (in 56 though, not in 17 because I didn't want my instruments to change to metric). English (UK) was accepted and that's fine for now but as soon as I get it finally installed I will play a little more with VAG-COM to see what is possible to get changed and what isn't.
Bumping this to see if anyone has an update.
My EU unit never gave me any warning until i loaded the US software onto it... now the damn thing pops up every time i turn the car on!

The disclaimer comes with the US software - guess that's because there's so many lawyers in the US :)

Never heard that one before.
I know this probably doesn't help, but the disclaimer text itself is contained in the "Loading.KWI" file. At least that's the only file I could find it in, but it was in two places.

1. Offset 6580024 (0x00646738)
2. Offset 10162572 (0x009B118C)
if it simply is not on euro unit perhaps deleting before making an update cd would get rid of it....only thing would be if its referenced somewhere else...did you check all the files on the dvd if it only appears there then that may be it.

hopefully its not on euro or maybe euro uses different "blank/redirect" file

a lil sarcasim? i hope so whenever hot coffee between the legs = lawsuit there are too many lawyers
Americans love disclaimers, regardless how wierd and unnecessary they are
This is just a small example from FOX channel (Simpsons episode)):
