Hi guys

Got my Dietz 1417 installed and working lovely, trying to put my 4 way video splitter in for rear TV's now. Slight problem. The 4 way splitter needs power, if i splice it onto the power the 1417 uses it stays on all the time (since it doesnt have CANbus +ve and -ve like the 1417). There is no switched live in the stereo harnesses, do i have to get one out of the glovebox or is there another way I am missing here, without putting a switch on it?

Connector D pin 13 is switched 12V+ on the RNS-E.

sorry to be thick which is connector d? is there a complete rnse wiring diagram and key anywhere on here?

There should be a label or diagram on your unit, similar to this one:

or use relay for switched power - run dvd and more so they stay on when radio is on with no key in car

this way no risk of overloading pre exisiting circuits
