Current RNS-E euro issues in us cars

Before I buy a euro RNS-E for my US B5 A4 are there any issues i should know about? I know the US DVD will not work w/o being modified... but are there any other problems or loss of functionality? will the 3-D view and traffic report work? anything you can think of, please let me know before I spend the money, thanks!

if I get a unit that is newer than 0140 - can I get older software on it? and where would i get it?

how "old" does the unit have to be in order to stay with-in the software versions?

I just bought one off ebay but the seller did not know what software version it has - so I will have to wait and see
