CODE UPDATE HELP REQ

Hi further to my previous code problem, how now connected to a battery on bench and inputed the code it comes up with the message pin code not attached .Checked with my audi dealer who were remarkable helpfull ,confirmed the code for me but they think it needs programming to the original chassy no,but say they could try to set to my car,but it would probly take two to three hours Â£75 oer any thoughts on this problem thanks
