I'm tying to find a CD changer to install in my 02 A4 to work w/ the nav+. However, I can't find a glovebox changer anwhere on ebay + i dont want to pay full price at the dealer.

Does anyone know if the 02 A4 is prewired for a trunk mounted cd changer? If so, does the wire come out behind the radio somewhere?

FYI - you need a special revision letter for the glovebox CD changer for it to work with the Nav+ (CD based). See my pix below. I think VAGparts.com sells them for $500 (ouch)...and they are rarely found on ebay.de.

As for the trunk...I doubt that you have the CD changer cable...but it's worth investigating. Check with the B6 A4 forum on audiworld.com as well.

Why not just add the phatbox to your trunk? It's much more user friendly. I've had my pbox for 7+ months now...and I love it. I'll never listen to another audio CD again. See my links below for more details.
