I have OEM nav (in-dash) in B6S4 and planning to upgrade to RNS-E.
My questions are:

If car already has nav can the cable from shark fin be used assuming i won't have to route another wire through the whole car? I'm thinking if i already have nav shouldn't the wire already exist somewhere near the dash?

I have Sirius Sat radio and if I order US unit will it still work? (not a big deal if not though)

How about my OEM nav? Will I be able to use both nav systems? Should I get any additional accessories for it?

Thanks!

The BNS unit (that's the small navi) sits in the trunk and that's where the GPS cable ends right now. If you don't use a new GPS antenna you woud need to extend the existing cable from the trunk to the head unit.

Unless you have a very late 2005 S4 you will need a new SAT receiver. The older receiver does not work with the RNS-E.

The BNS unit should be disconnected because it responds to the same address on the CAN bus. The RNS-E does use the DIS as well but you will have no use for the BNS controls in the center console anymore.

Check the quick links for more details.
