I would like one, if this is what will fix the B5 instrument cluster clock problem.
This would only solve the clock problem by forcing the clock to GPS mode. However, I suspect that the CAN emulator will simply relay the status of the switched power and illumination, so you will probably also lose the DIS integration of the radio and NAV data by using this.

Just trying to get an opinion from you all about what you think the interest would be for a CAN BUS simulator. A unit that can take all of the analog signals and convert it to CAN BUS.

Thanks,

Lanny
Hi Lanny,

Find me someone who can make an emulator or translator so I can try to install the RNS-E in Can-bus equipped VW's

I've tried to find someone willing to take on the task and no luck.

Any luck or progress on making the sat nav cable??

Thanks,

Steve

I will be testing this functionality as soon as I get the devices.

I am interested in a VW to Audi emulator, I have had several people express an interest in installing an RNS-E into their VW Passat and Jettas with the double din monsoo systems. They already have the quad lock adapter and correct connector for the antenna, but the VW com is different than the audi com.

If you can get a converter for this issue you will be an even bigger hero than you already are.
