Sorry about all the new threads lately, but I didn't want to bury this tidbit in the bottom of another thread...

Another nice feature I have noticed is that the BT module keeps linked with the phone and the handsfree kit stays in operation after you turn the key off in the car. Therefore, you can continue your phone conversation with the car off. The speakers and microphone continue to function just as if the car ignition was on. If you need to continue talking after exiting the vehicle, simply pick up your telephone and prepare to use it normally (open the flip, etc...). Then once the key is removed from the ignition, the BT module power turns off and the telephone should automatically switch back to normal (non-handsfree) mode so you can continue the call.

This is a handy feature because it allows you to wait until the car is off to dig your phone out of your pocket or breifcase instead of having to go through the hassle with the engine running. Alternatively, it gives you time to finish your call with the engine off instead of idling and wasting fuel.

And it works in reverse, if your on a call in your phone and get in the car, it will automatically transfer the call audio to the car when you pair up so you can drive.
