Playing with a 2006 S4 with RNS-E and Bluetooh I'm unable to get the signal strength or other UI on the nav display.

When I press the 'Phone' button the screen displays 'please use your cell phone" instead of any UI for dialing numbers etc.

Browsing this site it looks like some of you have other features - are these enabled with a software update, or VAG coding?

Most of the pictures you can see here are from the Euro version (both RNS-E and phone interface). There was one topic on AudiWorld where someone said that the US version doesn't do much more that telling you to use your phone. Here's the AW topic: http://forums.audiworld.com/a4b7/msgs/13564.phtml
