Best External DVD/TV Tuner?

I bought an Innovatek FD-89TV from www.mp3playerstore.com for it's relatively small size.

The problem is that the remote/remote eye sucks and evertime I turn the car off, it resets to the original settings: low TV volume, power off, etc.

Any thoughts on a better replacement? The Pyle PL-TVD122 looks like a good option, but the remote looks almost identical to the FD-89TV.

I need something small with DVD and TV tuner functionality.

do you have a 12V constant source??.. perhaps if the unit always has 12V the settings wont reset??..

my friend has the PYLE 120 (same as 122, but no TV).. it has worked well for ~2yrs now..
