HI, I JUST BOUGHT RECENTLY AUDI Q7 2006 WITH MILLAGE 140000.
BUT THERE WAS A PROBLEM IN GEARBOX
WHEN IT COLD DRIVE FINE BUT WHEN TEMPERATURE GOES OVER 70 DEGREE CENTIGRADE
CHANGING GEAR HARD LIKE FROM HIGH GEAR TO DOWN GEAR IT GERK AND FROM LOW GEAR TO HIGH GEAR IT TAKE HIGH RPM THEN IT LET IT GO WITH GERK CHANGE TRIP TONIC SWITCH WHICH IS ON GEAR BOX NO LUCK NEW OIL NO LUCK AT THE END I CHANGE SECONDHAND GEARBOX WITH SAME PART NUMBER.
NOW IT MORE TROUBLE GEAR BOX NOT RESPONDING AT ALL CHANGE GEAR SHIFT IN REVERSE OR FORWARD BUT IT NOT MOVING CHECK DIAGNOSTIC THERE IS ONLY ONE FAULT COME (SPEED CENSER G195 IMPASSIBLE)EVEN I CHANGE CENSER BUT NO LUCK
ANY BODY HAD SAME PROBLEM OR GEAR BOX IS FAULTY ANY BODY CAN HELP ME

Please turn off your CAPS LOCK - posting in all capitals is seen as SHOUTING.

Check when the transmission fluid was last changed would be my first suggestion, and if you're not sure when it was changed then change it anyway.

i jut put fresh new oil,But i not sure secondhand gearbox is faulty or some thing else[/quote]

It sounds to me like when the gearbox oil heats up its viscosity drops enough for the clutches to not be able to properly engage/disengage, which since you've changed the transmission fluid suggests a clutch and/or valve problem.

I would get the gearbox (the original one) looked at by a transmission specialist who knows about Tiptronic gearboxes.
