Is anyone familiar with Audi CPO paint rules? I recently purchased a 7k mile S4 CPO. While on the lot I didn’t notice any concerning scratches aside from 1-2 small onesnear the side skit, normal. When the car was prepped for me, i didn’t bother to do another check, idiot, only to get home and notice that there are immense amount of small clear coat level scratches on the hood, roof, pillars and trunk.
What are the CPO rules regarding restoring or certifying the cars Paint quality. Feel like I got dooped. The Audi dealership is only offering to wash and wax it again. I know it needs a full paint correction. Any ideas here?
