In the NAV guide it says for one of the tips to press the Reset button to switch to show the info (Miles Remaining, Avg. Speed, Avg MPG, etc) and to press it again to switch it back.

I tried but it just reset my odometer I'm thinking I'm misinterpreting it?

Is there even a way at all to show it when NAV info is being displayed... or if you have the compass turned on?

A short press on the Reset button on the bottom of the indicator stalk should cycle you between - trip 1 (current trip), trip 2 (cumulative trip), NAV info and blank. You should need a press of a few seconds to reset any of the trip info.

Not sure how it reset your odometer - my 2004 B6 S4 has a separate button on the instruments to reset the odometer.

NAV info (and compass) takes the place of the trip info on the DIS.

Annoyingly you also lose the MP3 track name.

Seems we really need a bigger DIS ...

Aha I DID misinterpret it. I kept thinking it was referring to one of the buttons on the DIS (the 0,0 reset button). I never realized there was a button on the bottom of the stalk!
