Anyone had issues with their RNS-E shutting off abruptly?

It has happened twice in 1700miles of owning the car (2006 A3) if i ignore the route calculations a few times. The until will just go blank and restart itself. Any thoughts? I also have the issue where it'll say "right" when it shows on the screen and whatnot to turn left.

Never seen the unexpected reboot and I do ignore the navi lady quite frequently. The mismatch in the voice and visual guidance had been discussed a couple of times on the European forums, the most recent software/map updates there seem to have solved most of them.

Do you have software 0020 or 0040 on your RNS-E and what version is your DVD?

I'll check later but i'm assuming its the very latest, it just came off the boat about a month ago.

My March 04 RNS-E did this, when I updated the software (euro) it went away. The SD slots also caused the same crashing
