Another successful conversion EU to US firmware (A4 B5)

The radio tags is something I have noticed as well. Probably Audi thought it's to much information for American customers.

ok, but does your nav voice come out of the front left speaker?

Can't reallt say because I have it turned off all the time. But I will check it out the next time I'm in the car...

i noticed that the nav lady's voice comes out of other speaker now too.. i havent checked the VAG coding yet..

You need to change the coding using VAG-Com.

Regarding the location of the voice guidance the relevant section is this:

So you need to change the value in channel 136 to 5 - which will move the voice to the front left speaker.

I'm in the UK so I use 2632, our friends in Europe should use 3226, and I don't understand why there is a value for RHD US (13)!

Just make sure you select control module 56 - Radio first, this is where you'll find chanel 136. It should however work under control module 37- Navigation as well.

That probaly means you're using an old version of VAg-Com - if I remember correctly you need a version later than 404 to allow 3 digit channel numbers to be entered.
