My 2019 A7 has been at the dealership for 11 weeks with a dead alternator and I'm being told it's because they have no alternators but cannot tell me when they will get any. Has anyone else heard of this / know what the issue is? It's just hard to believe Audi has no alternators anywhere for an A7.

I have Audi 2019 A6 been at dealership since October! No alternators to be had im next on list for over a month in Michigan.dealership says 40 cars sitting in lot for same thing. I’m wanting to sell it now and get anything but a Audi

Same story. My 2019 a6 is now the 20th car that is sitting on dealer lot awaiting a new alternator. No ETA, no loaner, although I am being told by the dealership that I will be reimbursed for a rental for up to $50/day.
I'm also being told it could take 90 days or more to get my car back. The guy is service told me I could just go ahead and buy a new car... lol. Seems like they could take the alternator out of the new car they want to sell me and restore my faith in the quality of their product - not to mention their customer service which has been disappointing relative to this issue.
