my A3 (8P) needs more bass.

what is the correct way to add a powered subwoofer? im thinking about the Kenwood KSC-SW1 or the Infinity Basslink.

i have Bluetooth, Sirius sat and the glovebox CD changer, in case in matters.

should i splice something or do i need to get this or similar a harness?

thanks in advance.

All 4 line out signals are already used by the Bose sound system in your car. You would need to start replacing Bose components because the Bose amp in the back uses the 4 channel line out from the RNS-E to power the speaker and subwoofer in your car.

I would ask an car audio forum for advise, maybe on Audiworld.com or so.

dealio, you can certainly use something like that in my pix to get RCA-out for the rear...in addition to your existing Bose amp. It's not too hard...and I've built a few custom harnesses set up like that. See the For Sale section for my post.

This is pretty easy if your RNSE is installed after-the-fact. If your RNSE is factory equipped...it's a little bit tougher..but doable.
