I've been involved in discussions with respect to this issue. However they all seem to die because of no results. Decipher the files is one thing but where & how (DVD, SD, internal memory) to store them in the RNS-E afterwards seems to be an even tougher one!
Adding POI's
OK, I know we've done a bit of chat about this in the past, but does anybody have any updates on adding POI's to the RNS-E...
Yes, main reason is for fixed speed cameras.... I've found the info on the locations, just need to be able to add them to the system.... Anybody been able to decipher the kwi files and work out their format?

I would think that if you could decipher the files, you "should" be able to add to them.... ok, maybe a long shot, but alot of the other models on the market have this facility...waterpetter said:I've been involved in discussions with respect to this issue. The POI's are normally read from the DVD. I understood that it is practically impossible to make a working copy of this Nav-DVD. I figure it must be even harder to get a modified copy to work ... The RNS-E apparently is a very proprietary system compared to a lot of open navigation systems on the market. However if someone has ideas on how to tackle this one I'm more then happy to participate.
