I'm trying to get the right part numbers for a B6 A4 install.

I've seen one, but the aircon unit is sitting back in the dash, it's not flush with the RNS-E.

Can somebody send me pictures of what they have, if it is flush. Also if they could send me the part number for the aircon unit (and also the ashtray if required) it would be greatly appreciated.

There are at least 10 different AC controller units I have heard of, very difficult to find the right part number without knowing what part you have now and without access to a parts catalogue. There are a couple of people who said that they got any double DIN AC controller from ebay and then moved the inside from the old controller to the new one. Sorry, no part numbers.

In the A4 B6, the double DIN units like Symphony II and RNS-E are always sitting a little further in the front than the AC controller. Here is a picture posted by PaulThai in the Album:
