hi guys, a few days a go i had an issue with oil pressure on my 2l TFSI, i was about 2 mins from home with cold engine and the oil pressure warning came on. As soon as it came on (within a second) i turned off the engine and rolled to the curb. Towed car to garage where they took sump off expecting the oil pump and balance shaft assembly to need replacing to find that the bolt holding the sprocket on had came loose so was not turning the pump. They put a drop of loctite on the bolt and reassembled.

car drives just as before still pulls fine but when i put my foot down and go over 4k revs it sounds more like a race car than an a3... it was throaty before when the turbo kicked in but im sure its louder....any ideas every one i have spoken too recons im going nuts

the only way i can describe it is it sounds like one of those boy racer cars with modded exhausts but its perfectly quiet when you rev it sitting still or drive normal. no smoke or oil loss to be honest it sounds nice
