The "D" unit is the newest Euro unit and does come with software version 0330. The patch for the US DVD does only work up to software version 0140. You may be able to load the US software onto the Euro "D" unit but this hasn't been done/confirmed yet.

Do you recommend the D unit or would I be better off with the C unit for now? On what unit did you convert the Euro RNS-E to US Spec? Great find by the way

Only the 8E0...C and 4B0...P units have been converted yet. To be on the safe side I would get a C unit, or the US 8E0...E/F unit.

Hi guys, I tried to update the firmware of mentioned unit to a US unit but (as expected) this doesn't work out. The unit doesn't recognizes the DVD. The well known message 'insert navigation DVD' is on the screen..Does anyone no how to fix this? SW=0360, HW=H70.
