Hello,

Both front LED signal lights recently fogged up and stopped working this past summer after I went through a carwash that had a front bumper sprayer. I managed to get them dried out and they started working but one of them finally packed it in. Unfortunately these are very expensive to purchase and replace. Dealer has quoted me $1800 CAD for both. I'm told that the front bumper needs to be replaced to get to them. I'd like to replacement them myself if possible. I do see that there are screws that face the back of car which I have no idea how to get to them.

Do you really have to remove the whole front bumper to replace these? If so can anyone point me to instructions on how to do so. I've done a internet search and can't find anything.

Thanks!

John

Hey John, had the exact same thing happen to me. The repair shop quoted me $1600 and yes, the bumper was emoved. I had a coverage with an extended warranty company here, Patriot Warranty, and they covered the repair, I only paid my deductible, but if I had to actually pay for it, I'd probably think twice.
